What a lovely day for sight seeing! James and I got a bit of late start, but we managed to see the Dolmabahce Palace, the Naval Museum, the outside of the Hagia Sophia, the Hippodrome, and the inside of the Blue Mosque. See our photos here.

For dinner we stopped at a little local place near the top of the Tunel–we both ate our weight in lamb, and I enjoyed a very tasty baklava. If all goes to plan (aka: we get our asses out of bed at a reasonable hour), tomorrow we’re planning to take a boat tour up the Bosphorus, then the bus back so we can stop at the ruins of a castle. I’m sure to have lots and lots of pictures.
