A feast for toddlers and the middle-aged

Saturday I drug James to the Sprint Center for Walking with Dinosaurs, The Live Experience. I’m such a dino nut, it was only fitting. The animatronics were pretty impressive, though I could have done without the running commentary from behind us, “Mommy, is that the T-Rex? Mommy, what’s that dinosaur dooooing? Mommy, is it over now?” Alas, it was to be expected — the crowd was composed entirely of children and parents. But all the beeeeg dinos were totally worth it.

Today, the girls from work and I went to see the new Sex in the City movie. Definitely geared toward fans of the show, and we all really liked it. It was like seeing a whole new season wrapped up in a longer-than-usual movie. It was fairly predictable, but we didn’t mind. Sometimes Sundays require a little fluff 🙂
