A Little Early Christmas Shopping

November 12, 2009 at 6:25 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | 1 Comment

I was out shopping for sweaters for the boy, now that the weather has made a more permanent dip toward winter, and while I was out, I figured I’d pick up a few toys for Christmas. And let me just say….I don’t think I’ve had this much fun christmas shopping since, well, ever. I had no idea buying toys for your own kid would put so much delight back into holiday shopping. I got him a collapsable tunnel to crawl through (I remember Evie got one of those for her 1st birthday, and she loved it), a bouncy ball, some animal farm blocks, a baby cell phone, and one of those popping walkers we all used to have as kids. I got it all home, out of the plastic bags, and now I want to bring Liam home to play with it all RIGHT this very minute! It’s like I’m the little kid who can’t wait until Christmas again! But, no, I’m going to resist, put everything downstairs, and put it under the tree on Christmas Eve. Which is only…um…42 days away. Sighhh…
