Liam Turns 4!December 27, 2012 at 10:18 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a comment
It’s hard to believe that four years ago, I looked like this:
And six days later, Liam made his early appearance.
And now my little boy is FOUR YEARS OLD. From a tiny infant, he has grown into a remarkably smart, incredibly talkative, observant little boy. He has a fiendish grin and an ornery sense of humor. He’s still very attached to his mamma. He doesn’t like crowds of kids, and still shies away from others at a gathering. But when he’s home, he immediately welcomes guests with a barrage of funny noises and grins. This kid loves to make goofy sounds – sometimes as if he’s possessed! Liam loves puzzles and computer games, spelling words on the fridge, and sliding down, then walking up, the slide at the park. God forbid another kid wants to come down the slide, though. Oh, the drama! Patience and sharing aren’t Liam’s strong suit.
He’s small for his age, which works to our advantage at theme parks. He loves to be carried, cuddled, and hugged. In fact, he’s always remarking that he wants to be a baby. But he’s only growing up up up!
This year we’re spending Liam’s birthday in Lexington with Mama and Papa and cupcakes he helped make himself. A perfect way to celebrate age four.
